Gaudí, source of light, hope and peace

GAUDÍ, as a source of light, hope and peace; manifested in a life of love and sacrifice, of exigency and acceptance of the circumstances of life (positive or not), which he enjoyed with his work and collaborators, uniting architecture and symbolism; with personal effort to win the battles of life, relying especially on religious practices, which made him a man with a clean heart and achieve that personal peace, necessary to achieve universal PEACE.

José Manuel Almuzara Pérez

Architect since 1997 by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona.

He knew two of Gaudí’s disciples when he was an architecture student. President of the Association Pro-beatification of Antonio Gaudí since 1992. Ambassador of the Gaudí Project to be carried out in Rancagua, Chile. Collaborator at The Gaudí Research Institute (TGRI) in Colonia Güell.  Member of the Gaudí Center Madrid. Spreads the life and work of Gaudí through visits, conferences, exhibitions, articles, publications, 

Vanesa Ayllón

Lyric Soprano Pieno

Lyric Soprano Pieno, born in Sabadell (Barcelona). Later he moved to El Vendrell (Tarragona) where he began studying music in the same town. He was a member of the Polyphonic Choir of El Vendrell under the direction of Maestro Joan Toldrà, where she stood out as a soloist. During her training period she has received singing classes from Isabel Penagos, Carmen Bustamante and currently, for the last four years, she has been studying and perfecting with the prestigious Tenor Daniel Muñoz in Barcelona.

Carolina Estrada y Bascuñana

Pianist, academic and educator

Dr. Carolina Estrada Bascuñana is a pianist, academic and educator. Throughout her career, she has held prestigious academic positions at world-renowned institutions such as the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, the University of New England and the Hochschule der Kunste Bern in Switzerland. She currently works as a collaborating professor and head of Artistic Studies at the Faculty of Education Sciences of the International University of Catalonia, in Barcelona. She has been awarded the Golden Cross of the AEFE and the Grand Cross of Humanitarian Merit.

Yoko Suzuki

Composer of: “Source of Light, A tribute to Antoní Gaudí".

Pianist, composer, and organist of the Crypt of the Sagrada Familia. She formed in Barcelona and Japan. She has given concerts as a soloist and also with orchestras, in various places in Spain, Germany, Austria, Italy, United States, Costa Rica, Ukraine, Malaysia, Cameroon and Japan. She has received several prizes in international competitions. She has published several albums. In 2019 she is distinguished by the Consul General of Japan in Barcelona with a diploma thanking her for her collaboration in the exchange between Spanish and Japanese cultures.
