On the occasion of the World Peace Forum in Barcelona, the Leonardo 4 Children events aim to encourage children and young people to take a proactive approach to Peace and become the responsible leaders of tomorrow, inspired by European values and the example of Leonardo da Vinci’s innovative genius. The events are designed to build on the success of the Leonardo 4 Children non-profit initiative and related international Awards. Few people know that Leonardo wrote inspiring fables that show the importance of respect for others, respect for nature, collaboration, modesty and hard work. These fables have inspired the Leonardo 4 Children initiative to show that the children of the 21st century can become the new Leonardo of tomorrow and address important global issues of climate, equality and peace.
Taking advantage of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the death of PAU CASALS – one of the greatest cellists of all time and, at the same time, a symbol of Peace – Miquel Pujol i Grau proposes a fantastic innovative workshop where music, activism and peace come together through an instrument as representative as the cello.
