Ramin Jahabegloo

Iranian political and philosopher

He is an Iranian political philosopher internationally known for his stance in favor of democracy, non-violence, and openness to the West. He received his PhD  from the University of Sorbonne in Paris and continued his studies at Harvard. He mainly engages in academic and research work mainly in Iran, the United States, India, and Canada, where he is currently a Professor of Political science at the University of Toronto. In 2009, the Spanish United Nations in Spain awarded him the 30th Peace Prize.

Kristian Herbolzeheimer Jepsson

Director of the ICIP (Institut Català Internacional per a la Pau). Agricultural Engineer with a diploma in Culture of Peace from the Escola de Cultura de Pau from the UAB. Master’s degree in International Peace Building by the University of Notre Dame, USA, KROC (Institute for International Peace Studies). Kristian is a peace process analyst and expert on the role of civil society in transitions. He has consulted peace processes in the Philippines, Baco Country and Colombia. With ICIP, he directed the Transitions to Pau Program of Conciliation Resources (2009-2018), a London-based NGO and was director of the program at the Pau School of Culture at the UAB (200-2007).
