Cati Jerez Paredero

Coordinator of the University of Barcelona Refugee Support Programme

Graduate in Sociology and political science with postgraduate degrees in international relations, international consultancy, and mediation. Currently, is in charge of the Refugee Support Program from the University of Barcelona coordinated by the University of Barcelona Solidarity Foundation. She has been also the responsible from the University of Barcelona of RESCUE (Capacity Building Erasmus+ project) and InHere (Strategic Partnership Erasmus+) and nowadays is responsible for UB CHARM-EU Inclusivity chart and coordinator at the UB level of the UniDIversity project

José Alonso Simón

Humanitarian Aid and Development Expert.

An expert at the Nadir consulting firm, he has been project manager in the Sahrawi and South Sudan refugee camps. Art Historian from the University of León and Postgraduate in Logical Framework Approach in international cooperation projects from the UOC. I currently work as a project technician for the Solidaritat Foundation of the University of Barcelona. Likewise, he has evaluated and carried out diagnoses both as an external evaluator and as a member of the Livelihood Center of the International Federation of the Red Cross.

Angeles Schjaer

Pedagogical coordinator of the Open Arms education department.
Xavier López Arnabat

Director of the Solidarity Foundation of the University of Barcelona (FSUB). He has been vice president of the Catalan Federation of NGOs. Graduate in Geography and History. He is a member of the Advisory Council of the Institute of Intercultural Studies of the Javeriana University of Calí (Colombia) as an international expert.
