Prosocial Education for peace

Offer sustainable and verifiable Methodologies to build Peace. The Applied Prosocial Research Laboratory (LIPA NETWORK) is a free association network of professionals from different organizations (universities, social companies, consultancies, associations) who adhere to and apply the LIPA applied prosociality intervention line with rigorous quality indicators, verifiable and transferable. This workshop will be a space for dialogue where applied tools of a communication model for peace tested internationally in various European projects will be offered.

Dr. Robert Roche Olivar

Eureka World Science Prize 2023, distinguished as a teacher of life.

 Director and founder of the Applied Prosocial Research Laboratory. Professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona since 1972. Expert in Couple and Family Psychology, Prosocial Optimization, Quality Communication and Prosociality, Prosocial Optimization of Emotions, Attitudes and Values. Since 1982, student of prosocial behaviors. Among the first introducers in Spanish, Italian, Slovak, and Czech languages of the concept, study, optimization and dissemination of prosociality. Advisor to the Ministries of Argentina and Slovakia on Ethics curricula for primary and secondary school. Author of 10 books and a hundred articles. Two of them with diffusion in all Argentine and Slovak schools. Inspirator, director, advisor, or promoter in dozens of Prosocial Intervention Programs in Spain, Italy, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Croatia, Macedonia, Ukraine, Cuba, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Venezuela, Brazil, Bolivia.

Dr. Pilar Escotorín Soza

Doctor in psychology and prosocial coach of people and organizations.

She has a degree in Social Communication, journalist and professor of Hispanic language and literature. She has taught in secondary and university education. She teaches Evolutionary Psychology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona; leadership and prosocial communication at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Chile, and Communication Theory at ESERP Business School. She teaches in postgraduate programs at the University of Valencia and Perugia, Italy. She has developed research on dialogue strategies for conflict resolution and communication for peace, and advisor to schools in peace education. She has held conferences and workshops on interpersonal communication and quality prosocial communication as a Consultant in Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, Mexico, Italy, Germany, and Spain.

Dr. Mayka Cirera

Doctor and master’s in communication psychology.

Psychologist and professor of Evolutionary and Educational Psychology – UAB. Specialized in prosocial leadership. She specialized in Interpersonal Communication at the University of Reading (England) and Intercultural Communication at the University of Technology of Sydney (Australia). At LIPA she has developed intervention plans in organizations to promote Quality Communication.

Lic. Marc Brundelius

Graduated in Political Science from the Free University of Berlin.

He graduated in Political Science from the Free University of Berlin and is a consultant in Corporate Social Responsibility and the applications of Prosociality to the world of organizations. He works with companies, interest associations and NGOs in Spain, Germany, and several Latin American countries, and has participated as an expert in the international process of developing the ISO 26000 social responsibility guide. He specialized in prosocial counseling and coaching at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and completed a postgraduate degree at the Technical University of Berlin, on management of vocational training to the world. He is a facilitator of dialogue processes with stakeholders and coordinator of an International Prosocial Trust Center on addressing Sexist Violence aimed at health and police personnel.
