Juan Corona Ramón

Former Rector of the Abat Oliba CEU University. PhD in Economics and Business Studies. Professor of Applied Economics. He directs the Jean Monnet Chair on Fiscal Integration into the EU and the Antoni de Montserrat Chair of Global Studies at the UAO CEU. Member of the European Court of Auditors, General Director of the Family Business Institute, Director of the Network of Family Business Chairs and Honorary Rector of the Abat Oliba CEU University.

Maite Parejo

A lawyer specialising in criminal law and human rights. Extensive experience in business conflict mediation processes. Partner of the law firm MAIO Legal and lecturer at the International University of La Rioja, UNIR. She has been Secretary General and vice president of the Spanish Association for Human Rights and has represented APHE in numerous national and international forums and initiatives. Speaker at countless conferences at professional associations and universities, author of various articles and books such as “The importance of universal justice for victims in Syria.”

Mohamed Chaïb Akhdim

President of the Ibn Battuta Foundation and member of the Board of Directors of PIMEC. Former deputy to the Parliament of Catalonia. Catalan politician of Moroccan origin, member of the Parliament of Catalonia (2003 to 2010). He is a member of the state-wide Forum for the Integration of Immigrants.

Jesús Sánchez

Dean of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB) and expert in second chances. Graduate in Law from the University of Barcelona. Founding partner of the law firm Zahonero&Sánchez Abogados Asociados, SCP. He is specialised in civil financial and consumer law and EU consumer law. At an institutional level, he has drafted different legislative proposals, such as the Catalan Law 4/2026 and the Spanish Law 5/2018. He has taught at the ICAB, UOC and UAO and has been a speaker at countless conferences at professional associations and universities.

Lawyer and vice-president of PIMEC. Expert in labour dispute resolution. Advisor and Counsellor to Institutions and Companies. In PIMEC, she has assumed different positions of responsibility mainly linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs -Agenda 2023). Previously, she was a Board of the Barcelona Bar Association member.
