Catalan cellist and composer. After studying at the Barcelona Conservatory of Music, he travelled to Wales, Scotland and Bayreuth to broaden his knowledge. He has performed as a soloist and in orchestral ensembles, but he has also devoted himself to the study of the relationship between the plastic arts and the cello and in search of new sonorities, carrying out sound research on works by several Catalan artists, which has made him a leader of the Catalan musical avant-garde. In 1994 he was awarded the Cross of St. George.
