 The objective of the table is to discuss the contribution of the arts to the well-being of society, resilience and how it contributes to a more inclusive society.

Outstanding Inner Peace Award 2023 - Luxembourg Peace Prize

Degree in Neuropsychology, University of Turin. PhD in International Politics in Central Asia, Master in Islam and Islamic Culture, University of Toledo. Master’s Degree in Multiple Intelligences at Harvard University and master’s degree in the Neuroscience of Compassion and Altruism at Stanford University. Director at UNESCO, Institute of XXI Century Competences. At present promotes well-being in global institutions with Dr. Richard J. Davidson through The Wellbeing Planet Foundation which has 4600 volunteers, and more than 2.5 million people have already benefited from their actions. Outstanding Inner Peace Award 2023 – Luxembourg Peace Prize.

Roberta Bacic

Chilean human rights defender and researcher.

Chilean human rights defender and researcher. Roberta has been a professor at the Austral University of Chile (1973-1981), worked in different institutes and schools and in the National Corporation of Reparation and Reconciliation, successor of the Truth Commission (Chile). Worked in London as a Program and Development Officer for War Resisters International (1998-2002). Since 2004 has been living in Northern Ireland, where she works with Conflict Textiles, an internationally significant collection of burlap. The use of textile crafts allows her to denounce the repression and violence experienced especially by Chilean women, a language that she later exports to other countries through her collection that currently includes more than 404 textiles. www.cain.ulster.ac.uk/conflicttextiles

Duván López

Colombian painter, sculptor and poet.

Colombian painter, sculptor and poet who gained the recognition international. His creations include drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art works. A self-taught author who started his activity in Colombia and for years traveled around the USA and Europe, set up his workshop and domicile in Catalonia in 2000. Exhibits regularly in Europe, America, and South Korea. In his works, color, and shape merge to communicate suggestive questions and situations that try to penetrate the mystery of the human being. His searching is to unite the aesthetic with the ethical, based on the premise that art is a generator of humanity. Creator of the “Peace Chair”, a sculpture that since 2016 has become the symbol of the Luxembourg Peace Prize awarded by the Schengen Peace Foundation. Creator of “The Question” – a sculpture that represents the WPF Barcelona 2023 about “What is Human Being?” applied to our motto “Quo Vadis World?”.
